While his appointment may raise a few eyebrows in polite company, Maximus knows he is the gentleman for the job.

Then, mere days into his appointment, the Grand Duchess is found dead in her hotel suite, stabbed in the neck with a strawberry fork belonging to Maximus. All suspicion turns to him.
