Celestin Mutabaruka, the author of this book, holds a BSc Degree in Forestry and M.Phil. in Forest Economics (both from Moi University, Kenya). He also holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Imperial College London).  He is married to Dr Rose Mutabaruka, the one whose accolade is the subject of this book. Celestin and Rose are blessed with five children, three daughters and two sons.
