A quick look at organic molecules

This limited introduction to the nature of organic molecules is designed to clarify discussions of  photosynthesis, the nature of organic fuels, and climate change. The book is intended for non-scientists (ages 11 to 85) who have some recollection of high-school chemistry, as well as bright young readers who may require no previous training in chemistry. A brief introduction to basic topics in chemistry occupies most of Chapters 1 and 2. The intent of this introduction is to make the discussion of climate change in Chapter 3 more meaningful.
