I was thrilled when I found out I was pregnant. I looked at the pregnancy test strip in front of me with two lines defining my future – defining that nothing was ever going to be the same anymore, and that little statement that everything was going to change made me feel so many things. Scared, nervous, excited, and then scared again. An amalgam of emotions had taken over me, and I sat there with the stick in my hand, wondering what to do next with this newfound information.
