A Silken Barbarity

Lorne finds herself alone with no one to rely on after of a violent storm that destroyed the plantation she lived on and took the life of her grandfather. Suddenly, a desert monarch named Razul appears out of nowhere and tells her to come with him—but he is the one who tried to take the plantation away from her grandfather! Lorne refuses to go with him, but can’t believe what he says next: “Your grandfather sold you to me…”
