Lori wants to overcome her social anxiety. Her friend Eva's idea of support turns out to be giving Lori a list of seven women, all single and members of their church community. Lori is supposed to befriend them and help as needed. Lori also forces herself to participate in more church activities. A "write-in" seems safer than most, and it spurs her to resume writing. When Jay, a single man assigned to befriend Lori, goes beyond the perfunctory introduction, she resist his efforts. If she'd let him, he might turn into more than just somebody she knows from church.
