Sarah James can't believe that her brother sold the family home out from under her. That house was going to be her livelihood after she fixed it up. But the new owner Cimarron Cole plans to restore it to its former glory—and sell the beloved old place for a lot more than she could ever afford.

Cimarron Cole knows houses, but he's clueless about taking care of his five-year-old nephew Wyatt after the child's father was killed in an accident. And now he's having to deal with Sarah James, who is furious about the rotten deal Cimarron unwittingly dealt her when he bought the old mansion from her brother.

Sarah's determined to get her house back, and she's equally determined to show Cimarron that he can be the father Wyatt deserves. The house begins to take second place with both of them as they realize that you don't have to be perfect to create the perfect family.
