Sorry, would have bought but
I downloaded this book in order to get a start doing Premiere Pro CS 5.5 for Mac (the most recent version of this program). I stopped reading quite at the beginning where the author spoke about what one should have: Windows XP (no, he doesn't mention “or newer”), because it won't work on machines running Win ME or 2000 nor Macintosh computers.
As i said, I stopped reading there and looked back to get the date of publishing. It is the first edition, published way back in 2004. Hey folks, that's poor! I need a book not written in the stone age. Get me a revised edition referring to a CS5-version of the software, and you get 5 stars, because the book might be of use for newer Windows-version of Premiere, but for mac-computers most keyboard-shortcuts are slightly different. Or to speak Hollywood-technobabbel: I can't work like this!
