Ahlam‪!‬

During the Covid-19 lockdown in the Maldives, a very lonely man is visited by a self-summoned being from another dimension. The name of this visitor is Ahlam.
Every night, Ahlam brings to the man a short story, one in which a set of circumstances indicates some of the social, psychological, and moral problems the man faces.
Are these problems internal to him? Do they also apply to the Maldives? Are any solutions indicated?
Does the man slowly slide into a morass of self-pity? Or does he wake up to a new reality?
Does the man get possessed by Ahlam the 'being'?
Or is this a new awakening?
Do we get insights into certain realities of life in a country which is presented to the rest of the world as an idyllic paradise?
