Alpha Mission: A Beacon Flight Adventure

Eleven-year-old Bethan might be the youngest member of her family’s Beacon Flight team, but she’s the captain of getting into trouble. When their delivery of relief aid is threatened by a space gang known as Locusts, Bethan must recruit her brother, Kale, and local boy, Adjo, to uncover a deadly plot.

As residents of Earth spread out and colonized the galaxies, planets were left isolated and vulnerable. The Intergalactic Mercy Organization (IMO) initiated the Beacon Flight Program, traveling teams with the mission to provide response, relief and rescue. Bethan and her family’s first mission takes them from the Spectra Commerce Station to the war and famine ravaged planet Ethop with the Locusts shadowing their every move.
