Asset Recovery

POTUS charges Michael Callaghan, leader of the MFB Black Ops, with tracking down terrorists that have kidnapped nine of the world's most valuable military Assets.  These nine missing people supply top-secret military and technological products to their respective governments.  With nations blaming each other for the kidnappings, the MFB team has one week to rescue the Assets before World War III starts.

 An unknown assassin murders Amanda Kane's father George Kane shortly after Michael and Amanda's engagement party and steals five million in cash.  Amanda's morally corrupt brother, Jeff Kane, in an enraged haze of alcohol and drugs, wrongfully holds Michael responsible for his father's death and hires a drug dealer to kill Michael.  When the attempted murder goes wrong, the MFB looks into who was behind the attempt on Michael's life.

Two terrorists confront Amanda, demand she sell Kane Shipping and Distribution to them for a fraction of its value, and inform her they have taken her brother Jeff.  Failure to do as instructed will result in Jeff's death.  Michael becomes conflicted when he learns that Jeff was responsible for the attempt on his life, and is now one of the hostages that he has to rescue.

Michael and the MFB track the terrorists to Lima, Peru where an ambush occurs.  They manage to escape through superior tactics and firepower.  Once the MFB arrives at their safe house, they learn that the terrorists have a hide out near the Machu Picchu Mountain.  They head towards a convent in Cusco to meet a guide who can take them to the lair.  An ambush on the way results in the team losing one of its members during the firefight.

Shortly before the MFB arrives at the mountain hideaway, some of the terrorists depart with half of the Assets, and leave orders to kill the rest.  Michael arrives, prevents the executions, and learns that the remaining terrorists and Assets are en route to Jolo Island in the Philippines.         

Sasha Tsang, a covert British Interpol agent, joins Michael in tracking the terrorist and retrieving the remaining five Assets.  Using Sasha's contacts with the Triads, a disguised Michael and Sasha are smuggled onto the Island where the terrorists capture them and take them to the same mountain fortress where the Assets are imprisoned.  Can the MFB avert a world war by rescuing the Assets, and what will happen when Michael confronts Jeff?
