Backgammon and Draughts (Or Checkers‪)‬

Featuring complete sets of rules for both games, this volume was published in 1888. Backgammon is one of the oldest board games with boards and pieces recovered in ruins in Iran dating back to 3000 BC. Other old boards were found in ruins from Ancient Egypt and Rome and featured decorated fields shaped like snakes, olive branches or landscapes.
