Beautiful, Rich and Dead

Lavonne Kershwin was successful, with two platinum albums, a house on the ocean, a couple of expensive cars, a yacht, and all the other things anyone of her psychology could want.
Except friends.
She had hangers-on and business acquaintances, agents, and fans.
She was not the type to be murdered. Smacked so hard her teeth rattled, but not murdered.
Was she? They couldn't explain her death in any other way that would survive investigation. There were things that said it wasn't suicide or accident.
There didn't seem to be anything that said ... anything.
