Zoe is the Author of Blatant Heat a famous novel that has been picked up to be turned in to a movie. To celebrate she and her friend go to Florida for some time at the beach. On vacation she meets the love of her life, she cannot fully accept him because she is hiding herself and thinks that she could not possibly deserve a man as beautiful as him.

Jackson Blaze Mcgarret, is a successful musician well know for his angelic panty dropping voice, he has been given an opportunity to try his talents in acting and was given the lead role in the move Blatant heat. He comes to Florida with his friend to unwind and await information on the elusive author of Blatant Heat. Blaze believes that the author can help him improve his acting by giving him insight on his role as Damien Landi. He falls in love with Zoe before finding out that she is the author he is looking for.

While these two decide if they really want to be together, someone is plotting Zoe's downfall
