About the Author

Amir Yaz is a stand-up comedy producer, comedian, and now, first-time author. From a young age, he loved reading joke books. He wanted to pass on this love of reading while putting smiles on kids’ faces. Together with his illustrator friend, Bobby Steele, he created this illustrated children’s joke book as his debut children’s book.

Amir was born with hydrocephalus, a condition where too much fluid collects in the brain and cannot drain naturally. It requires a special piece of medical equipment, a shunt, that helps drain the fluid. The only treatment is brain surgery and there is no cure for the condition. A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be donated to the Hydrocephalus Association.
