It is June, 1917. World War 1 has been devouring Europe for almost 3 years. Corporal Fallon Killrain arrives in France with the 5th Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. And for most of his life, he has been aware of his affinity for violence, but has kept the door locked. To him, it is erotic, voluptuous.
