Birthright

Twenty five years after the zombie epidemic began, the remnant of humanity is just beginning to reach out from the cold North and reclaim land abandoned to the horror years before. When pregnant women begin disappearing from the farms and protected compounds that supply food to the cities of the North, everyone is worried but its not until rumors of a new kind of intelligent zombie appear that the true nature of the horror is revealed. Dac, a young man with his own worry about the zombie virus, is drawn away from his team and into the dangerous forgotten lands of the Southeast chasing down the mysterious doctor trying to raise a new breed of zombie.
