Blue Light

Duncan has been running for ten years. He travels through a scarred landscape, finding refuge in hamlets that dot an endless wasteland. He manages to stay one step ahead of the mysterious and technologically advanced Overseers and their brutal army of Enforcers. He succeeds in keeping his freedom by helping the Overseers in their search for a person who gives off a Blue Light when tested. Why the Overseers want a Blue Light, Duncan doesn’t know.

A young singer named Gabrielle is one of those Blues. Now Duncan must decide—will he protect the young woman and escape with her through the perils of the wasteland in hope of finding sanctuary, or will he simply turn her over for a reward?
