Rupert Tanqueray's life has gone horribly wrong. Perhaps if he can understand how it happened, he might be able to mend it.

Rupert and Robert, the Tanqueray twins, had always been inseparable until one day in October their maman, Célène, gave Rupert some difficult news. That was the beginning of a long and difficult time. A letter from old Aunt Zerenity disconcerted Rupert but gave him hope…though he feared it would come at the expense of his twin.

Happy endings come to those who are willing to wait. Rupert wasn't exactly waiting for the beguiling May Gundarson to overcome her hesitation, but he got his blue skies ending all the same.
