The Southern Sea Port of Tyre was one of the busiest Phoenician ports in ancient times. From it sailed most of the expeditions to build the Phoenician trade settlements on the islands of the Mediterranean, the north and east coasts of Africa and the coasts of the Iberian Peninsula. Now, it is in ruins and great neglect.
