Bradford's Pledge

The sentimental Miss Julia Harwood is dreaming of romance when she meets the anxiety-ridden Mr. Philip Bradford. There is nothing romantic in the dilemma in which he finds himself. His efforts to protect an imperiled family are threatening to ruin him. As Julia finds herself becoming more involved in Bradford's fate, she begins to glimpse the heroism that is being required of him. Hesitating between imitating him or yielding to her own whims and desires, Julia is forced to assist him in making a decision upon which their lives and the lives of others will depend.
