Beschreibung des Verlags
Adam Tod Leverton is obscure, even for a poet. He is rarely read, even for a poet. He has lived a life of modest adventure on several continents. He currently lives in a box. This is a collection of poetry written over a few decades.
When he was younger he was dedicated to being a poet, or rather a recognized poet, but he realized over the years that recognition matters as much as a fallen leaf on the forest floor. Even less, because the leaf provides nourishment. What nourishment does recognition provide? Nothing, it is the emptiest of calories.
These poems have been self-published in a few forums and versions. Some have had musical accompaniment, and others have been published in obscure poetry magazines that have surely disappeared by now. His poetic influences range from Keats to Cohen, Purdy and Jim Morrison.
As he ages, he thought that he would provide a record of these poems that he has written before he is swallowed up by that void that no passion or sentiment can escape. He has no hope that these poems will be read by many, they are after all poems, but he hopes that the right people will find them and that they will resonate with them.
