Burgos and Beyond

Wellington's Burgos campaign ends in disaster and ignominious retreat; a retreat of horrors and hardships, all shared by Michael Roberts as he fights his way to safety with the rearguard.

 Barely has the army begun to recover when Michael finds himself in Lisbon, facing a threat that could result in even worse disaster.

 Events conspire to send him to London on a mission for Wellington, where intrigue and a surprise await him.
