By a bench-trial judgment, appellee recovered on an open account against appellants defense and counterclaim for monetary damages on the ground he was charged interest in excess of double the amount of interest allowed by law. Because appellee charged appellant interest when no interest is permitted by law, appellant is, and appellee is not, entitled to judgment. Reversed and remanded with instructions.
