Katie Diaz always wanted a dog. When she finally got one, their time together went a little like this story. Katie grew up in Connecticut, spent summers in Rhode Island, and has lived in Arizona and Oregon. Katie, her husband Andrew, and their two young daughters now reside in Indiana.
