Introduction The majority of twelfth graders across the United States participate in a culminating assessment that showcase student skills, introduce students to the community, and help prepare them for transitioning to college or the workplace (NCHSSY, 2001). This curriculum often consists of: career research, developing a professional portfolio, demonstrating work place technology, and hands on career demonstration project and juried presentation before peers and community mentors.
