Carnarvon's Secret Servants

The 5th Earl of Carnarvon discovered the Tomb of Tutankhamen, it contained unimaginable treasure. Amongst the treasures were over 300 shabti’s, figurines re-birthed in the after life to service the King’s every need. 50 years later the Egyptian government wants the last 4 back from the Carnarvon estate. But one is missing.

On the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation a newspaper prints a street party photo from 50 years ago. On the photo is Gideon Edwards, the only photograph in existence of him as a child. It also shows his uncle 3 who disappeared shortly afterwards. He remembers him only from his trips to the local museum, the one with three Egyptian mummies and the three figurines donated by Edward Ernest Edwards.
