Cat's Cradle

This is a short fantasy fiction story of a young woman who finds herself mesmerized by a handsome man in a pub. She leaves her drink to go to the ladies room to compose herself, thus committing a major faux pas. The man offers to walk her home after she starts feeling woozy, thinking he's going to take advantage of her, but he finds out the searing truth, too late.
