Champion of Hope describes a journey of healing through grief and loss. It is about choosing the light of hope and forgiveness over the darkness of despair and bitterness. In the wake of grieving the death of a mother who suffered from heart disease; a husband who fought and lost the battle with cancer; the tragic diagnosis of a son’s schizophrenia; and a father who struggled with a bondage to alcohol leading him to suicide, seeds of faith were being planted in Connie’s “field of heartache.”
