Shifters are at war with the Golems and Oni of the Abyss Solar System. As champions of the Equipoise and Milky Way solar systems, it is up to Jilocasin and Tilda.

Jilocasin, the king of Tatsu with emotions as cold as his blood, discovers that he's fallen in love with Tilda and wants her as his mate and wife, but if he marks her, that may end them both during a war like no other. And Tilda, the five-star general of Effeminate, who suppresses her emotions like they were her shield in battle, may acknowledge she loves him back, but with the impending war, she has to put her life on the back burner again.
