Contemplation

Willigis Jäger's provocative study of the Christian comtemplative tradition and its relevance to contemporary daily life traces the development of contemplation as set forth in the writings of such celebrated mystics as Meister Eckhart, St. John of the Cross, and the anonymous author of "The Cloud of Unknowing."
