Compelling
As with Rooney‘s novel, Normal People, it is easy to become absorbed by the entrancing, pulse manipulating pace of this story and her deceptively impressionistic character development. I could not put it down, was left wanting more, and am now glumly disentangling myself from its absorptive web. I do hope Rooney continues to feed my addiction.
