Counting the Days

Marilyn had graduated from high school and was finally free to relax and enjoy her summer vacation. She planned on blowing off some steam before she began her long journey through med-school. At 18 years old, she was finally legally old enough to drink a few beers and hang out with her friends on the beaches of Fire Island, but then she noticed him. Marilyn grew up in Long Island, among the wealthy and privileged of Huntington, but she was willing to give it all up for love. She didn't know that Danny was going to be the end of her debutante life. He was going to become her living nightmare, a manipulative beast of a man, inspired of the devil himself. In a few short years, he will have managed to remove the sparkle from Marilyn's eyes making her a victim of abuse and violence, subjecting her to a life of solitude and mental anguish. He would change the course of Marilyn's life...forever!
