Colonization of Mars is tough enough, the Human race hanging on by its fingernails. With deadly enemies and uncertain friends, the Humans have to fight for their right to exist. What they thought they knew about Mars or even Earth, was not as previously imagined. Secrets on a Varlindran cone mean either life, death or possibly both for the Humans.
