Who is Rae? She is a six year old girl who has an active imagination and an idea of of how everything could be. At birthday party, the adventure begins when she finds a hiding place that might be too good.

"One, two, three, ten……all the numbers in between were scuttled by panicked feet and tiny squeals. Rae knew she had to hurry because her hiding place was on the second floor at the far end of the house. She had spied it when Mary’s parents were giving the girls invited to her birthday party a tour of their new estate, they showed it with great pride and paused frequently to allow for ooohs and aahhs – every single room was put on display. Rae watched her mom and dad roll their eyes a few times but she did not care, a house like this was a kid's dream for hide-and-go-seek, it was huge!"
