Crumby is not your daddy's coming of age gay memoir. Crumby is about being a teenage faggot in jail. Crumby is about deconstructing the psychiatric system. It's about awkward sweaty sex, drugs, and chasing an animal called love. It's about learning to laugh in the face of Christian America as a way to survive as a disaffected youth in Illinois in the late 90's and early 2000's. Crumby is about being alive.
