Darn Wood Chuck

Dear Reader: This is a pilot of the planned science fiction/thriller series Darn Wood Chuck. I wrote several instalments of the series that are as of yet unpublished. This is the most recent. If Darn Wood Chuck is successful it will become the first of its line in an independent series. I hope that you enjoy the pilot.
Wood E. Chuck is a recent American immigrant to the United Kingdom. His decision to leave the United States and strike out on his own in the UK was not entirely of his own choosing. After arriving in London and purchasing the building and assets of a defunct news paper, reopening the paper under a new name, and making a new name and life for himself, old friends who are not so friendly come calling.
