Davy Crockett

Davy Crockett (1786-1836) was an American frontiersman, soldier, and politician, famed for his adventurous spirit and sharpshooting skills. Born in Tennessee, he became a legendary folk hero through tales of his wilderness exploits. He served in the U.S. Congress, advocating for settlers' rights, but lost reelection due to his opposition to President Andrew Jackson's policies. Seeking new opportunities, he joined the Texas Revolution and fought at the Battle of the Alamo, where he died heroically.
