Deacon's War: Lazarus Rising

Three years ago Macey Deacon was a captain in the Space Marine Corp, fighting in the first ever interstellar war in human history. Now, he makes his living as part of a close protection detail, working for the recently elected governor of Mars, and the largest arms dealer throughout the known colonies.

Life has a way of catching up with you, and Macey’s former existence is about to do just that. When he finds himself in the midst of an apparent assassination attempt on his boss’s life, he’s soon forced to delve back into his past, and to one mission in particular.

With his very survival, and that of his former space marines on the line, he must leave his new found civilian world behind. Fighting for his life, he’s about to stumble into a world of deception that will rock the known colonies to the core.

In true Space Marine tradition, it’s left to a few hardened combat veterans to rescue the sprawling mass of humanity from impending danger, and the clutches of one of the most powerful and ruthless men in existence.
