Dead Fall

Matt Hilton's first e-book exclusive short story, featuring ex-military operative Joe Hunter.

When the bodies of two friends are found near the penthouse apartment of a known crime boss, Joe Hunter has revenge on his mind. He's never tolerated bullies, but this time it's personal. And no matter how many heads he has to bash to do it, Joe will find his man.

Low-level street vendor William Murray plummeted sixteen stories from the high-rise roof, and Candice Berry took a nine-millimeter slug in a dark alleyway. Tampa homicide detectives are forced to wait for a slip-up, while Hunter operates on zero patience.

Armed with his trusty SIG Sauer, he tracks the bloodshed through South Tampa back to an enforcer hiding above a Thai restaurant. Taking on an entrenched Irish mob boss in a private stronghold might seem reckless, yet Hunter has never been one to walk away from a fight.

Includes a sneak preview of Blood and Ashes, the exhilarating fifth novel in the Joe Hunter series.
