What happens when a good guy goes bad, really bad? For Boyd Savitt life is great in the love department. Women are attracted to his good looks and musical talents, but his interest remains on Laurel, the girl who sings the songs he plays at a local nightclub. When Laurel goes off to California to attend music school, Boyd feels the pain of her loss and so embarks on a cross-country journey to join her. Along the way, his car breaks down and he hitches a ride with a mystery man named Denny who may be shady in more ways than one. At a lonely desert pit stop, he encounters Stormy, a sensual and earthy gal who takes him down the dark path of sex, lies and crime. For Boyd to break away from her sultry hold, he must pay the ultimate price to win his freedom and reunite with Laurel.
