Dead Rabbits

The Dead Rabbits were an Irish-American gang in Lower Manhattan during the 1800s. They often clashed with Nativist rival gangs like the Bowery Boys, who hated Irish Catholics, as well as the newly-landed immigrants who settled in Five Points area of New York. This book will take a look at the history of the street gang, as well as a few of the members of the Dead Rabbits Gang (like John Morrissey, Tommy Hadden, and Kit Burns).
