When they put their heads together Carolyn and Julie make a perfect plan to knock off their disagreeable spouses. Maybe it won’t be quite so perfect when Tucson Detectives Hoffman and Jenkins, with some crucial help from Sara Hoffman, begin to question some of the facts.
Then Betsy Carpenter arrives with a plan of her own. She’d like to even the score with a high school enemy who made her life “a living hell for four long years.” Betsy is sure she is smarter than the cops too. If anyone is going to get away with murder, then maybe she’ll have to be the one to tackle the real source of the problem…that too smart cop! If he won’t happily go down the false trail she so conveniently supplies for him, then maybe he’ll have to die, too.
