Innkeeper Bob Himmel’s rotten teenage cousin Deirdre appears destined to become a hardened criminal—or just possibly a Mage. She thinks either will do as long as she can get out of dead-end Rayburn County, Indiana. But if a Mage, will she accept electrifying Mrs. Rollins as a mentor? Or a Curse Mage as a best friend?
