Yes, we know they battled foreign diseases, shortages of food, and had various conflicts with the natives, but what was really going on behind closed doors? Were they dealing with some of the same personal issues that we deal with as a society today? Was infidelity a creeping thought in some of their minds? Was sibling rivalry causing rifts between family members? And most importantly, were neighboring bitches just being ole' haters back in the colonial days as well?
