Dialysis Center Proposed in East Wenatchee: Davita Competes with CWH Services (Central Washington Hospital‪)‬

DaVita, a leading provider of dialysis services for patients diagnosed with chronic kidney failure or chronic kidney disease, will break ground March 1 on the area's second dialysis clinic. Construction is expected to be completed in 2009, and the 22-station center will open in either late 2009 or early 2010. The company has contracted with Seattle-based developer EDG Commercial Real Estate to construct the medical facility on the 1.07-acre lot at 295 Third St. N.E. in East Wenatchee. The new clinic will compete for patients with Central Washington Hospital's dialysis center at 116 Olds Station Road, Wenatchee, which the hospital opened in 2002.
