Young Antonio Vega lives in America with his Aunt Maria after losing his family, as an infant, crossing the Mexican border eighteen years earlier. On the morning of July 22, 2036, his Aunt pushes him out the door because of the infamous postcard. 

That infamous postcard arrived in 2019 with a mysterious message for Antonio Vega with coordinates and a future date for a dispatched message from Carmen Vega, his deceased mother. 

Antonio expects nothing out of the mysterious postcard except for wasted time and driving miles to the border. What Antonio discovers instead changes his life as he learns the outcome of his mother's struggle to give her children a better future.
