Julian selflessly sacrificed himself to protect Rosie, his soul then cast to the Underworld. Determined to save him, Rosie follows him to a realm few of the living are brave enough to enter. 

But she can't succeed in this detrimental task alone. 

With the help of her spirit guide, they venture deep into the Seven Gates of Guinee where dark shadows lurk and deadly demons hunt for prey. Yet even those malicious creatures pale in comparison to the treacherous enemy plotting to seal Rosie in the Underworld forever. 

Can Rosie free Julian from the bayou of lost souls? Or will she become yet another victim claimed by its eternal waters?
