DNA [Enhanced Edition‪]‬

An examination of the structure of the huge polymer, DNA starts this unit. From there, the focus turns to a consideration of the three essential functions of DNA, namely replication, protein synthesis (transcription and translation) and three types of gene mutations. Complete rationales for each function is included along with useful examples. A special feature of this unit is an interactive Genetic Code for use with determining amino acid sequences.
