Dr. Harold Oslowe is not having a good week. Performing an autopsy on a John Doe that was brought in left him with more questions than when he started, and few answers to show for his trouble. But even one answer seems to be too many for some people; now the autopsy files have been censored, half of his colleagues are sick, and hospital resources are being stretched thin. Now he's racing against the clock, and his own symptoms, to get to the bottom of this medical mystery before somebody decides to do more than just tamper with medical records.
